Kevin Thomas - 1981 Soccer

 

Thomas was a three-sport star at Wayland High in soccer (forward/midfield), wrestling (134-pounder as senior) and baseball (catcher/left field) before graduating in 1981. He was a two-time captain in soccer and wrestling and a baseball captain as a senior. Thomas was a four-time Dual County League All-Star in soccer and wrestling as well as a two-time state champion in wrestling. He was a member of the first Wayland High boys soccer team to win the DCL title and the first Warrior team to beat Lincoln-Sudbury in boys soccer.

Thomas went on to play collegiate soccer at Ulster Junior College in New York and was a regional all-star his senior year.

He is self employed as the owner of Tuna's Landscaping for the past 18 years.

Thomas, who is a member of the Massachusetts Wrestling Hall of Fame, has served as an assistant wrestling coach at Weston High under Dave Baldanza for 23 years. He has been named a national and state Assistant Wrestling Coach of the Year.

Thomas and his wife Ginger are the parents of four children: Samantha, Zachary, Kevin and Gabrielle.

Kevin and his wife Ginger are devoted parents. “We spend most of our free time coaching and watching Samantha and Gabby play soccer and softball. We also enjoy watching Zachary and Kevin play soccer, baseball, and wrestling.” Kevin is especially grateful for the support given to him by his parents, Pat and Rocky Thomas, his four brothers, three sisters, Bill Snow, Rick Moyer, and Bill Holman.

Alberto was inducted into the Massachusetts Track Coaches Association Track Hall of Fame three years ago. He currently works for the Nike Corporation. He and his wife Molly are the parents of three children: Antonio, Alejandro and Maria.
